Commander Jim Hough called the meeting to order, and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Chaplain Roger Miner gave the invocation prayer.

The only outstanding bill at present is annual membership fees to the National Office. Annul memberships will be sent in about the first of August. (NSVA)
Concern was again shown by the members pertaining to the decrease of members attending the Aurora Reunion. We have lost a number of members due to death and to health problems during the past three years. It was voted unanimously that the members present would divide the State Membership List equally between them and make calls to as many of the people on this list as possible. These lists will be divided by the Secretary/Treasurer and will go out to those members present at the 2008 reunion with the minutes of the 2008 business meeting.

Election of Officers
Officers for 2008-09 were discussed and
names presented. Bill Henry will be Commander for 2009 . Jim Hough was
nominated for Senior Vice Commander.
Votes were cast for the above nominees and in all cases the nominees were elected by majority vote. The new officers for 2008-2009 were sworn in by Commander Hough.
Motion made by Bill Williams to adjourn the meeting, and the motion was seconded by Richard Lush.
